Mit Boule verbinden viele Deutsche das von den Franzosen auf \u00f6ffentlichen Pl\u00e4tzen ausgetragene Freizeit-Kugel-Spiel. Der korrekte Name ist allerdings P\u00e9tanque.<\/p>\n

P\u00e9tanque ist ein dem Boule-Spiel zugeordneter Pr\u00e4zisionssport. Dabei versuchen zwei Mannschaften, mit je drei Kugeln pro Spieler, ihre Boule-Kugeln so nahe wie m\u00f6glich an ein vorher ausgeworfenes \u201eSchweinchen\u201c (=Zielkugel) zu werfen. Eine Runde geht \u00fcber 13 Gewinnpunkte und in der Regel werden 3 Runden zu einem Spiel geworfen<\/p>\n

Vor etwas mehr als vier Jahren kam bei einer Gruppe Ronsdorfer Sportlern die Idee auf, das Petanque Spiele oder Boule regelm\u00e4\u00dfig als Freizeitsport zu betreiben. Nach einer Anlaufzeit von etwa einem Jahr konnte mit Hilfe von Spenden auf der ETG Hockey-Anlage am Dorner Weg eine professionelle Boule Bahn angelegt werden. Zurzeit spielen in zwei Gruppen mehr als 14 engagierte Bouler am Mittwoch- oder Donnerstagnachmittag. An besonders sch\u00f6nen sonnigen Sonntagen wird auch zur Fr\u00fchschoppen Zeit eine flotte Kugel geworfen. Es geht den vor allem \u00e4lteren Herren dabei nicht nur um sportliche Aktivit\u00e4ten, wobei der Ehrgeiz eine Runde zu gewinnen, durchaus vorhanden ist, sondern es geht auch um das \u201esavoire vivre\u201c und darum ein St\u00fcck s\u00fcdfranz\u00f6sisches Flair auf die S\u00fcdh\u00f6hen zu holen.<\/p>\n
